Life is like such a game show

The job hunt thus far has honestly been rather frustrating to say the least. I have so many rejections, and a lot of tentative offers. Tentative as in nothing's confirmed, leaving me hanging and waiting and wondering, whether to wait for it (which isn't definite you'd get it) or find something else less wonderful. Which has rendered me in a position whereby I'm hanging in mid-air amongst a sea of these tentative offers. None of which are guaranteed to go through, so you don't know which to give up/hold on to etc, or whether to just abandon them all and fill in my application form for the nearest Starbucks.

I'm WAITING. Waiting for this, waiting for that, waiting and waiting and seeing what happens.

For now I still can do that. But in due time, I won't be able to afford the luxury of waiting. I have no idea what's going to happen in one month's time, or even what's going to happen in the next couple of weeks.

It's like playing 'Deal or No Deal' in real life. You don't know whether to give up your box for the banker's offer, or to wait for a better offer, or to stick with it. Because every box you open changes the circumstances and every step has unpredictable consequences for you. Making decisions - You either end up congratulating yourself, hitting yourself in the head, or accepting what happened. And the dynamics can keep alternating at each decision made.

Thanks everyone who have been helping me, I absolutely and definitely appreciate it.

I'm still holding on!! Something good is going to happen to me! Yes it will!

Unoffically graduated

Well, I have officially completed my ITP programme, just left with compulsory post-ITP seminar and what-nots for this week. That includes personal medical appointments. That makes me an unofficial Diploma graduate.

What am I up to next? Job hunting!! And then..SOT (probably with job at same time), and then Uni.

There's a lot of uncertainty but at least what is Certain is that God is around and helping me out.

Buy "Lock & Lock" airtight containers! They are really airtight! My cookies and potato chips are still CRISPY!! :DDDDDDD

In the meantime, I'll be finding a job for these couple of months at least. Jobstreet seems rather interesting.

If anyone is wondering about why there are so many shoes on my wishlist, it's cos my shoes keep spoiling.

Things to do & Not do

I think..God made it quite clear what He wants me Not to do, as MY BACK IS STILL HURTING TODAY ALL OF A SUDDEN.

I wonder if Panadol Extend would help? I just saw the advertisement in the MRT train today. (Random passing thought. Ain't going to buy.)

So many plans plans plans to make, which would then be followed by actions to carry out.

I realised what are some of the things I need to do..

Random Sunday

Today, I finally managed to go out with the bunch of SPC people. We went to Settler's and roamed around Orchard Road. It was good to be able to go out and have some fun.

This year is going to be so different!

Constantly clearing Facebook applications..There's so many from months ago I've yet to get around to till now.

What to do after January?

I concluded that I have to buy a load of stuff in accordance to helping fulfil my goals for this year. I wrote down all my resolutions for the year 2008, but it remains to be seen if I'll be publicising them in a blog entry here. I'm too lazy to type it all up.

The iMac computers in school have been giving me a lot of problems this week. In fact, one simply crashed on me, wasting Thursday's worth of editing to my video. Today (Friday), after being shuffled from one iMac to another, I finally had to settle for a server. It's a long and complicated tale I shan't recount.

Anyway, got most of the work (re)done, and I'll just wrap up on Monday and be good to go. Hopefully. As long as all the equipment behave themselves the next time.

I'll be done with internship soon. I have to make some decisions quick.

The weather is chilly these days.

Change

You have to step Out of the Old world, before you can step In to the New world.

It's just like you have to Exit your house before you can Enter your destination.

In any case, if you choose to move on, you have to leave the old behind.

CHANGE!

I need to stand and make a firm decision, and cut loose some of those safety nets that are still holding me back.
